Nicola Di Cicco

I am an Operations Research Specialist at OPTIT, where I work on decision support systems. I focus on the logistics domain, especially on three-dimensional packing and vehicle routing problems, and I contribute to the architecture of our cloud-based software platform.

Previously, I obtained a PhD in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Massimo Tornatore. During my PhD, I was an NGI Enrichers fellow at Columbia University under the supervision of Prof. Gil Zussman, and an intern at IIJ Research Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Jean-François Baffier.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, listening to Japanese city pop, playing videogames, parrots, etc. You know, the usual stuff.
